The island lies to the beach resort and fishing community of Kunduchi,also its along side the jangwani and sea cliff beach shore.
It is reachable by means of motorboat ride crossing from mainland and it takes 20 to 30minutes,it is therefore a popular daytrip for both Tanzanians and tourist.
The beach shore at the island has the white soft sand that makes you comfortable for sunbathing and ocean swimming,funny fishing,beach funny activities (funny football,volleyball etc) and it is accessible through out the year.
Also you may have the chance for walking safari following the trail at the island
