Lions eating the hippo

It is not easy for a lion to kill the hippo so this might be the hippo was very sick or injured that why it was so easy for the lions to take the hippo down,this happen at Serengeti National Park where by we found two female lions seating near guiding their meal of dead body of the hippo after they have been satisfied as you can see below
